She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Escobedo and Delfino Nieto Escobedo. She is survived by: her sons, Jose Escobedo (Teresa Escobedo), Marcos Paredes and Juan Bermudez (Tammy Bermudez). She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MeadowLawn Chapel (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mission Park South Funeral Chapels South Cemeteries (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214).
