With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Juanita Siordia (San Antonio, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Agustin Torres and Juana Torres; and her grandparents, Petra Torres, Irineo and Rosario Lopez.
She is survived by: her children, Elvira and Hector (Vanessa); her siblings, Frank, Jose, Bertha, Rosario, Alejandro, Dolores, Felipe, Jesse and Agustin Jr.; her granddaughters, Abrielle and Stephanie (Patrick Lawler); her great grandchildren, Vivienne and Dylan; and her brother Robert. She is also survived by her children as "Mom" and "Nana", to her family as "Nena", and to her friends.
In lieu of flower arrangements, the family requests donations, in her honor, to the Alzheimer Association San Antonio & South Texas Chapter. The family will accept special donations for Maria in the form of potted plants or garden seeds.
