She was predeceased by: her parents, Cruz Benitez and Manuel Ramos Benitez; and her husband Generoso E. Alvarez. She is survived by: her sons, Generoso Alvarez (Debbie), Carlos Alvarez, Mark Antonio Alvarez (JoAnn) and Ricardo Alvarez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
