He is survived by: his children, Gloria Casanova Ramon, Rudy Casanova and Irene Cuellar; and his sisters, Emilia, Trinie, Esther, Mary, Hope, Stella and Annie. He is also survived by two granddaughters and three grandsons; nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MeadowLawn Chapel (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the MeadowLawn Memorial Park (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220).
