She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lyle and Elizabeth Lyle; and her husband Reaves Eugene "Gene" Hastings. She is survived by: her daughters, Caren E Nielsen (Terry) of San Antonio, TX and Patricia L Smith (Allan) of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery (1099 S Woodlawn Ave, Bartow, FL 33830).
