He is survived by: his sister Sonia Stoddard (Corazon McDonald-Ferguson); his children, Michael C. Ferguson (Norma), Cathy D. Jordan (Melvin), Nicole M. Ferguson and Lewis W. Ferguson, Jr. (Kymberly); and his grandchildren, Melvin II, Gregory (Shayna), Brittney, Daniel (Zenzali), Stephen, Knox, Braelyn and Renley. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
