Griffin; his children, Larry Jr. and Jenise; his siblings, Maria Nious (Charles), Ezell Griffin, Linda Peterson, Debra Griffin, Sonja Coburn (Jerry), Jacqueline Clayton, Richard Griffin, Ulysses Griffin and Desi Griffin (Cynthia); and his grandchildren, Deionte and Dejah. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and dear friends.
