He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Barrientes and Epifania Barrientes; his siblings, Santiago Barrientes, Sr., Gilbert Barrientes, Ruth Hernandez and Paul Barrientes (Goya); his nieces, Frances Rivera, Marcela Rivera and Irene Barrientes; and his nephew Rudy Rivera.
He is survived by: his great-aunt Dora Barrientes.
