He was predeceased by: his mother Eura Mazola Patterson; and his brother James Valton Evans. He is survived by: his siblings, Joel Myers (Margaret) and Sandra Wilson (James); his aunt Mildred Chamberlain; and his children, Erica Vann, Karan Taylor, Shacole Taylor, Carlos Taylor and Kevin Emonte Taylor. He is also survived by nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends.
