Juanita Driver Bunn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Driver Bunn in San Antonio, Texas, born in Zebulon, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Bunn (Cotton Top); her parents, Vance Driver and Algar Maidon Driver; her siblings, Vance Driver Jr., Mamie, Pauline Driver, Dorothy Wood, Elsie Hinnant and Mafar Curtis; and her son-in-law Mike Forsyth.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Baird (Tony) of Zebulon, NC, Emily Forysth of San Antonio, TX and Eddie Bunn (Sherrel) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Gina Bunn of Zebulon, Jason Bunn of Mocksville, NC and Melissa Bunn of Wilmington; and her great grandchild Chelsea Bunn of Zebulon. She is also survived by grandchildren, 9 additional great-grandchildren and 2 additional great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials (in memory of Juanita Bunn), may be made to Wakefield Central Baptist Church, 308 Proctor St., Zebulon, NC 27597.
