It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Benavidez Guffey Cota of San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Benavidez and Maria Benavidez; and her former husband William Guffey. She is survived by: her husband Rafael Cota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and godchildren.
