With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juan S. Ruiz of San Antonio, Texas, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Ruiz Sr. and Ernestina Leza of Ruiz; and his siblings, Socorro Bernal, Santa Alvarado, Margarita Rubio and Antonio Ruiz.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Leal Ruiz; his daughters, Irma Laura Gonzalez (Adrian, III), Sylvia A. Ruiz, Veronica Hilda Garza (Stephen J.) and Sonia E. Tovar (Greg); his grandchildren, Greg Tovar Jr., Arianna E. Gonzalez, Mia I. Tovar, Sophia M. Garza, Adrian Gonzalez IV and Gerardo Gonzalez; and his sister Ana Maria Montalvo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
