He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Escobar Maloney, Esmeralda Escobar, Juan P. Escobar Jr. and Armando Escobar; and his brother Pedro Escobar (Rose Escobar). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
