It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Cheeves-Whitney (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joyce leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Hare (Leon) and Cherie Dubay (Mark); her grandchildren, Bianca Nuckols, Cody Nuckols (Jaciel), Caitlin Dubay and Patrick Dubay; and her siblings, Tommy Crayton (Maureen), Kaye Lawanson (Michael), Rita Crayton, Gary Crayton (Sylvia) and Barry Crayton (Marina). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
