Though Josie Tobar may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Josie Tobar touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Tober and Isabel Lopez. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Davila, Leticia Davila (Tony Zapata), Raymond Davila Jr. (Denise Heredia) and Richard Davila (Christina); and her siblings, Elida Reyes, Mary Cisneros and Juan Tober (Aurora). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Josie's memory to American Heart Association, an organization close to her heart.
