She was predeceased by: her husband Julius L. Matthey; her daughter Yvonne M. Matthey; her parents, James Olivarri and Carmen Olivarri; and her siblings, Jovita and Butch Olivarri.

She is survived by: her siblings, James, John, Michael, Alec Olivarri and Julia Rodriguez; and her children, Sylvia Diane (Stephen) and Julius (Dorie). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“Jim, Bobbie, Joe, Jon and Jason and Jason's children Michael and Sophia sends our deepest sympathy to the Matthey and Olivarri families. We are so sorry we could not be with you to celebrate her life as she was laid to rest but. We were with you in spirit. She was such a wonderful person and I loved her the day I met her in 1958. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. We so enjoyed going to the country to see her and Matt when we visited over the years..It hard to lose someon”
