Joseph Fernandez Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 79, Joseph Fernandez of San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ventura Fernandez and Carolina Carrasco (Dora Esther Cortinas Fernandez); his son David Anthony Fernandez; and his children-in-law, Delia Otero Fernandez and Gary Wade.
He is survived by: his children, Gilbert Roland Fernandez (Angela), Norma Jean Wade and Samantha Marie Zapata (Nicholas); his brothers, Robert Fernandez (Anne), Hector Fernandez and Alfredo Fernandez; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Jr., Ezekiel, Ashley, Chris, Travis (Michelle) and Dylan; and his wife Dora. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers and sister in laws.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Texas Funeral Home (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
