He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Nerone and Norma V. Nerone. He is survived by: his wife Rita C. Nerone; his daughters, Christine A. Nerone (Fernando Ayala) and Veronica J. Nerone; his grandchildren, Nora V. Ayala and Julian A. Ayala; his brother Charles P. Nerone; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Zang (late Steven Zang) and Barbara Robbins (William Robbins). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made out to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
