He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Rivera and Eva Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Adam and Victoria; and his brother Arthur. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
While the pandemic kept him from being able to connect to his congregation through normal church services, Joseph was inspired to record his sermons from home, allowing him to continue his ministry and expand his outreach online.
