With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josefina Cruz (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Cruz and Adela Cruz; and her siblings, Rachel Sanchez, Irene Bonilla, Sebastian Cruz Jr. (Sonny) and Antonio Cruz (Tony).
She is survived by: her partner Maggie Zertuche; her siblings, Maria Casias (Myra), Ida Wieland (David), Rudy Cruz and Eddie Cruz (Mari); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Cruz (Sonny) and Ingrid Cruz (Tony). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel (2502 S WW White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78222). A rosary will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the San Jose Burial Park (8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214).
