He is survived by: his parents, Jose Cruz Valdez and Arlene M. Yanez; his children, Julian Sanchez (Adrian Opland), Emery Valdez and Sophia Opland; and his siblings, Salvador Valdez, Evelyn Valdez, Josephina Valdez, Emily Valdez and Christi Hernandez.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Texas Funeral Home (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
