He is survived by: his children, Joe Ed Mercado, Ida Burkett (Harold), Daniel Mercado and Noel Mercado (DeAnna); his grandchildren, Megan Mercado, Dylan Mercado (Emily), Kayden Mercado, Briana Lazaga (Sean), Kristin Kyne (Cody), Nolan Mercado, Allison Burkett and Ashley Burkett; his great grandchildren, Gage Mercado, Autumn Lazaga, Emma Lazaga and Casen Kyne; and his siblings, Ofelia Anderson, Oscar Mercado, Ernestina Singleton, Joaquin Mercado, Bertha Mercado, Alice Eckstrom, Tina Bochniak, Oralia Torrez, Carlos Mercado and Tomas Mercado. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of the family and friends.
