We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2024, at the age of 83, Jose Garcia Velazquez of San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Melendes Velazquez; his parents, Juan Velazquez and Maria Velazquez; and his siblings, Jesus, Juaquina and Guadalupe.

He is survived by: his children, Jose (Angela), Teresa, Xavier (Veronica), Salvador (Shannon) and Fernando; and his sister Maria. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
