He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clyde Higgins Sr. and Blanche Okey; and his children, June Armstrong, Michael and Jonathan Higgins.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Norman Higgins (Linda Marie), Zechariah Z. Higgins (Carol) and Leah Higgins; and his sisters, Shirley Maykuth and Amy Higgins. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Southside Funeral Home (6301 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78214). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
