It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy Louis Amicone (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincent Paul and Mary Moroni Amicone; his former life partner LaJuana; and his son Dennis Jack Amicone. He is survived by : his brother Albert Amicone (Doris); his wife Marjorie Whitley; his children, Lanni Brown (John), Vincent Amicone, Melvin Amicone (Christine), Gregory Amicone (Deana) and Jorji Hunnicutt (Tim); and his stepchildren, Susan Whitley, Bruce Whitley (Glenda) and Dianna Alexander (Benny). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home (6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery- Shelter # 1 (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Holy Cross High School, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
