He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaias Gutierrez and Mary Frances Gutierrez. He is survived by: his wife Yilsa Y. De Los Santos; his children, Anissa N. Garcia, Jesus J. Esparza, Jr. and Andrea Y. Esparza; and his siblings, Paula Santos (Edelmiro), Debra, Susana Montalvo (Gilberto), Isaias Gutierrez, Jr. and Jesse. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces and numerous family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1610 Hidalgo Blvd, Zapata, TX 78076).
