With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jesus Garcia Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jesus Garcia Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus S. Garcia and Francisca Garcia (Guerra); and his sisters, Minerva Dominguez and Francisca Church (Fanny). He is survived by: his wife Blanca Garcia; his children, Jesus Garcia III (Graciela), Blanca A. Wakeland (Clarke), Juan L. Garcia, Sylvia G. Leon (Phillip) and Gerardo Garcia (Lenore); his siblings, Jose Luis Garcia (Emma) and Teresa Juarez; and his grandchildren, Amanda C. Hardy, Isabel C. Garcia, Jesus Garcia IV, Zachary J. Leon, Nicholas J. Leon, Dean Garcia and Jarrod Garcia. He is also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home (6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238). A rosary will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home Mausoleum II Chapel (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A committal service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218).
