In loving memory of James W. Norris of San Antonio, Texas, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who departed this world on November 27, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Norris and Elma Norris; his brothers, Calvin and Houston Norris; and his great grandchild Mason Sacra.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Norris; his daughters, Nina Baumann (Jerry), Melissa "Dawn" Norris (Buck Price) and Tanya Montoya; his grandchildren, Howard "Tra" NeSmith (Lisa), Samantha Acovio (Chris), Stephanie Sacra (Jeremy), Sarah Lammers (Stephen), Steven and Lauren Montoya; and his great grandchildren, Eldon NeSmith, Leslie NeSmith-Palmer, Colton, Lainey NeSmith, Leilah, Asheliah, Aniyah, Roslyn James Acovio, Joseph Phillips, Noah and Ryleigh Lammers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Ridge Mortuary West (8008 Military Dr W, San Antonio, TX 78227). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
