Samuel Stahl wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Tena and Family, Not only your family, but the entire city of San Antonio has suffered a colossal loss with Jim's passing. Jim was a towering community leader and a man of profound faith, who performed myriad acts of kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion. I vividly remember sitting alone at lunch at a restaurant one day, when Jim came over to invite me to join him and his guests at his table. May Jim's legacy serve as a perpetual blessing. Rabbi Samuel and Lynn Stahl”
