With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imelda Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maclovio Escalante and Cristina Trejo; and her siblings, Rodolfo Escalante and Cristina Escalante. She is survived by: her husband Victor M. Hernandez; her son Victor G. Hernandez; her daughter-in-law Alma Hernandez; her daughter Minerva Negrete; her son-in-law Alberto Negrete (Judith Guerra); her siblings, Luis Escalante, Alma Gonzalez and Carmen Leal; her grandchildren, Marisol Negrete, Alberto Negrete Jr., Maribel Pina, Michael Guerra, Victoria Guerra, Victor Hernandez Jr. and Leslie Hernandez; and her great grandchildren, Araceli Jaimez, Dominick E. Moreno, Lydia May Pina, Myah J. Negrete, Avah C. Negrete, Anakin Hernandez, Lorelai Hernandez and Camila Hernandez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Texas Funeral Home Chapel (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
