He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Estelle Myart and Rev. James W. Myart Sr. Harold; his wife Emma M. Myart; and his siblings, Brenda E. Thomas Robinson, Carol F. Chambers (Twin), Janet W. Myart Prince, Marguerite Daniel (Curly) and James W. Myart Jr. (Twins).
He is survived by: his son Harold Myart Jr.; his grandsons, Harold Myart III and Branden Myart; his sister Laverne M. Burdette; and his cousin Otto M. Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (3310 E Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Meadowlawn Memorial Park (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220).
