She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfield North and Leota North. She is survived by: her husband Jack Schmid; her sons, Stephen (Beth), David and Matthew Schmid (Gwen); her grandchildren, Devon Schmid (Heather), Madison, Stormi and Jaxx; and her sister Lyn Lumberg.
