She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Villarreal, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Edward Villarreal (Suzie), David Villarreal (Mary) and Christina Moreno (Ted); her grandchildren, Edward Villarreal Jr., John Michael Manzano (Ann), Jenison David Villarreal, Exsela Alyse Trevino (Ashley), Emily Rose Espinoza, Denise Stahl (Aaron), Koreena Villarreal, Stephanie Lopez, Nora Lopez, Victor Cano (Amanda), Elizabeth Hernandez (Roger) and Teddy Moreno (Helen); and her siblings, Helen Ochoa and Manuel Salazar. She is also survived by eight great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter, one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (1710 Clower, San Antonio, TX 78201). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
