As we bid Gralon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gralon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Ivery and Jessie Lee Washington-Ivery; and his brother Dana Ivery. He is survived by: his children, Shakeita Clayton (Corey) of Austin, Cameron Ivery of San Antonio, Gralon Ivery of Sulphur Springs and A'Layna Fraise of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his sisters, Tommie Pogue of San Antonio and Ury Johnson of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the O. J. Carter Memorial Chapel (601 Center St, San Antonio, TX 78202).
