She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Gutierrez and Josefina Gutierrez; and her spouse Jesse Contreras. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Contreras (Dora), Irma Martinez (Paul), Raquel Garcia (Robert) and Daniel Contreras (Lorena). She is also survived by her family, which grew to include 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (1710 Clower, San Antonio, TX 78201). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
