It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys R. Garcia in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Gladys has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her mother Chela. She is survived by: her sisters, Rina and Chepy; her children, Patty, Liz and Carlos; her daughter-in-law Carol; her grandsons, Carlos, Thomas and Andrew (Maddie); and her great grandchild Callie. She is also survived by her loving brother-in-law, and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
A rosary will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (600 Oblate Dr, San Antonio, TX 78216). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
