It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilda E. Mazzurana in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Gilda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gilda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Chapel at the Village of the Incarnate Word (4503 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
