He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Roman Martinez; and his grandparents, Enrique, Christina Munguia and Emma Martinez. He is survived by: his parents, Louis Martinez Sr. and Mary Lucy Martinez; his son Roman Martinez; and his siblings, Brenda Dimas, Sally Martinez and Louis Martinez Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
