He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Sanchez Carreon, Sr. and Mabel Madden Carreon. He is survived by: his children, Amy Carreon Oberst (Chris), Stephanie Renee Ozuna (David) and Gilbert Alfred Carreon; his grandchildren, Naudia Nicole Carreon, Andrew David Ozuna, Adrian Michael Carreon, Danielle Bree Ozuna, Vivian Carreon, Lillian Rae Carreon, Ian Michael Oberst, Cameron Ellis Palacios Oberst and Sabrina Adele Carreon; and his siblings, Alfred Carreon Jr. and Frances Carreon.
In remembrance of Gil's love for the beautiful city he was born in, in particular the West Side of San Antonio, guests may choose to donate in his honor to Esperanza Peace and Justice Center or Guadalupe Cultural Center.
