He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Martinez and Elena Guerra; his son Jesus Martinez; his brother Jesus Martinez Guerra; his parents-in-law, Jesus Cavazos Garza and Maria Cristina Cavazos Vallejo; and his brother-in-law Jesus Cavazos Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Maria Gloria Martinez; his children, Jerry Martinez (Rosie), Alma Martinez (Robert), Sandra Quinones (Oswbaldo) and Lucerito M. Recheverri; his grandchildren, Bethany Amick (Austin), Jeremiah Martinez, Esther Garcia (Rolando), Joshua Luis Martinez (Madison), Cristina Marie Herrera (Erik), Mark Daniel Martinez, Brittany Rose Esquivel, Alexander Blain, Eliseo Recheverri, Anias Recheverri, Roman Recheverri and Jairo Recheverri; and his great grandchildren, Adalia, Isabella, Levi Amick, Nevaeh Garcia and Ezekiel Martin Herrera. He is also survived by brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
