Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gary leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Woitena (Ted) and Angeline Woitena (Angie); his cousin Jo Nell Glaenzel; and his sister-in-law Cindy Woitena. He is survived by: his children, Kristopher Woitena (Jessica) and Kimberly Smith (Adam).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Oaks Mortuary (2502 S WW White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78222). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church (1314 Fair Ave, San Antonio, TX 78223).
