We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2019, at the age of 81, Gary W. Mitchell (San Antonio, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mitchell and Alice Mitchell; his siblings, Janice Faye Mitchell and Darrell Mitchell (Peggy); and his daughter Kelly Marie Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Michael (Lori Newman) of Rochester Hills and Craig (Katherine Chiarello) of Austin; his granddaughter Olivia Mitchell of Austin; and his siblings, Orlan Mitchell (Verlene) of Grinnell, Iowa, Marilyn Cakerice (Maurice) of Eldora, Iowa and David of Marshalltown, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Gary's name to the San Antonio Symphony.
