He is survived by: his wife Hilda Mendoza (Lozano); his siblings, Lydia Pacheco, Stella Rodriguez, Rudy Mendoza, Alice Zuniga and Rachel Fausto (Frank); his children, Frank Mendoza (Gloria), Charlotte Medina (Jesse), Shirley Mendoza and Patrick Mendoza (Lori); and his grandchildren, Christopher Mendoza (Jeanette), Brandi Garza (George), Michael Medina and Anastasia Arreguin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (350 Sutton Dr, San Antonio, TX 78228). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the San Fernando Cemetery (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
