He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Malone Matocha; and his parents, Angeline "B. P." and Bolslav "B. P.". He is survived by: his siblings, Boles P. Matocha, Paul E. Matocha and Rosalie A. Jenkins; his children, Patrick L. Matocha (Beth), Phyllis Turner, Carol Hebdon (Jack) and Eileen Urban (Mike); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Reblin (Eric), Mason Turner, Blair Matocha (Scott Mathieu), Annie Mueller (Gates), Blake Matocha (Emily), Brett Turner and Will Urban. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
