She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Thompson and Alta Thompson; her husband Sidney L. Lyons; her siblings, Hester Armstrong, Robert Thompson and Ward Thompson; her daughter-in-law Susan Lyons; and her granddaughter Nikki Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia L. Lockhart of San Antonio, Steven L. Lyons (Debbie) of Spring, Michael L. Lyons (Karen) of Sugarland, Kent L. Lyons (Lisa) of Bryan, Nancy L. O'Sullivan (Steve) of San Antonio, Chasity Kuykendall of The Woodlands, Brandon Kuykendall of Tomball and Tarah Gonzales (Stephen) of Victoria.
In lieu of flower, The family would like to continue Mrs. Frances Lyons passion for helping children so they are requesting donations to help support her churches youth program who will be sending 40 kids and 10 adults to Youth Camp Summer 2024.
