Evelyn Ruth Bridger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Ruth Bridger of San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Ruth Bridger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Russell and Willie Harris Russell; her siblings, W. L. Russell (Dub), Elsie Marie Smith, Mary Francis Coats Berry and Betty Lou Mashburn Rasberry; and her brother-in-law Robert Lamar Bridger.

She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sister Pat Balmos; and her children, Marjorie Schmidt (David Gary), Diana Gilbert (Morris), John Bridger (Maggie) and Jacquelyn Robertson (Tim). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
