He was predeceased by: his parents, Anecleto Lara and Micaela Lara; his siblings, Anecleto Lara Jr., Braulia Lucio Vidaurri and Tony Lara; his brother-in-law Pedro Rodriguez Sr.; and his nieces and nephews, Pedro Rodriguez Jr., Mary Ellen Hernandez, Jose Pedro Gutierrez, Reynaldo Juarez, Esther Vidaurri, Mary Ann Gonzalez and George.
He is survived by: his sisters, Susie L. Rodriguez and Petra Lucio Gutierrez; and his nieces and nephews, Carmen Gutierrez, Mario, Fabian Rodriguez, LyAnn, Isabel Rodriguez, Johnny Diaz, Diana Reyes, Luis R., Elisa Shadrock, Ken, Faustina Rodriguez, Joel, Dominga Ramirez, Oscar, Jesse Ramirez, John David Hipps, Peter Ramos, Petra Nancy Ramirez, Roy, Lupe Ovalle, Jimmy Vidaurri Jr., Rosa Vidaurri, Albert Vidaurri, Linda and Cindy Vidaurri.
