She was predeceased by: her parents, Geronimo Gutierrez and Maria Gutierrez; her husband Ben Rodriguez Jr.; her siblings, Aguado Gutierrez, Lupe Gutierrez, Albert Gutierrez and Anita Hinojosa; her daughter Annette Sandoval; and her granddaughter Veronica Mojica.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Mojica, Ben Rodriguez (Mary Alice), Debra Salas (Rocky), Gilbert Rodriguez (Betty), Julia Suan (Andy) and Lisa Olvera (Gilbert). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (617 S Santa Rosa Ave, San Antonio, TX 78204). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mission Burial Park South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214).
