She was predeceased by: her parents, Ireneo Araujo and Ramona Granado; her husband Jose Menchaca; and her brothers-in-law, Jesus Silva and Ignacio Menchaca.
She is survived by: her daughters, Esther J. Menchaca, Grace B. Chapa (Rocky), Olga R. Terrazas (Robert), Laura M. Narvaiz (Gilbert), Annabel Menchaca (Antonio), Barbara J. Menchaca-Aguilar (Raphael), Hortencia Mehl (Kevin) and Mary Ellen Ramon (Rudy); her siblings, William Araujo and Maria Silva; her brother-in-law Manuel Menchaca; her grandchildren, Joseph, Eric, Steven, Jeanette, Jaymes, Maryssa, Paul, Daniel, Randy and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Jazmin, Erabella, Mateo C, Marcelo, Maciel, Sophie, Dareo, Mateo N, Valentin, Remy and Ember. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
