It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther A. Cardenas (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix O. Alvarado and Louis G. Alvarado; and her brother Felix Alvarado. She is survived by: her husband Alberto T. Cardenas; her children, Alberto A. Cardenas, Daniel Cardenas (Linda Cardenas) and Samantha (Ruben Rangel); and her siblings, Mary, J. R. Becerra, Elizabeth (Pete Serna), Joe (Pauline Alvarado), Donna Alvarado, Lisa (Ernest Mejia) and Mari (Trini Arce). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
